Hem rebut a la web de la
penya aquest e-mail que més o menys he traduït.
Es tracte d'un Sr. anglés
que es diu Martin i va estar veient la final de la Champions al local de
la penya de Ciutadella.
L'e-mail ens l'ha passat el
JOSE CAPO CAMPS (un ciutadellenc que viu a Anglaterra) que és el que va
donar la nostra adreça a aquest senyor perquè pogués venir al local de la
Penya a veure la final ja que el Martin es trobava a Ciutadella aquell dia
de la final.

Vaig recomanar a un company de feina angles is seguidor del Barsa, que
venia de vacances a Ciutadella, que visitas sa seu social de sa Penya per
veure sa final de sa copa d'Europa. Us envii copia des correu electronic
que me va enviar perque vegeu que be s'ho va passar. Moltes gracies per
tractarlo tan bé.

First of all - i am sorry that it has taken so long to write but as you
can imagine with a new job - time can be taken up with many things - and
then there is the family side of life!!
Secondly i must thank you so much for pointing me in the direction of the
Barca club in Ciutadella. I did go - and of course in the end had a
fantastic night. I was there about 20 mins before kick off - and had a
beer. I had another beer during the first half - and at half time the guy
in front of me in the bar (very perceptive) just turned around to me and
said
'rain'...and i nodded....then he said 'are you english?'.......Couldn't
answer no - and then told him i have followed Barca for 20 years. I didn't
buy another drink all night. His name was Toni.
When we scored - the place erupted as you could imagine and Toni, having
already bought me another beer said that if we win there is champagne free
for the rest of the night!! Well, after 3 beers and 4 glasses of a very
good Cava - i was a very happy chap as you could imagine. At the end of
the game it was all hugs,hi-fives and handshakes - and a lot of
introductions to the local committee, family and friends of Toni. Could
you please send me the email of the club so that i can send them a note of
thanks and good luck for the new season? As i came out of the bar, the
town was very noisy with cars horns going and people milling about - just
an amazing night.

¡¡Primero de todo - siento haber tardado tanto
tiempo en escribir, pero como usted puede imaginarse con un nuevo trabajo
- No he tenido mucho tiempo para otras cosas que no sea la familia!!
En segundo
lugar darte muchas gracias por darme la dirección de la Penya Barcelonista
en Ciutadella. Estuve ahí y desde luego al final tuve una noche
fantástica. Yo estaba allí aproximadamente 20 minutos antes de que
empezara la final con una cerveza a mi lado. Me tomé otra cerveza durante
la primera mitad - y en el descanso, el tipo de delante de mí en la barra
(muy perspicaz) se giró y dijo ' Es usted inglés? ' ....... no podía
contestar no - y luego le dije que he seguido Barca durante 20 años. No
compré otra bebida toda la noche. Su nombre era Toni
(Aguiló)
¡¡Cuándo marcó el Barça - el lugar estalló como usted podría imaginarse y
Toni, ya me invitó a otra cerveza dijo que si ganábamos habría CAVA para
el resto de la noche!!. Bien, después de 3 cervezas y 4 botellas de
Cava estábamos felices como usted puede imaginar. Al final del partido
todo eran abrazos y apretones de manos de los socios de la penya, la
familia y los amigos de Toni.

podría usted enviarme el correo electrónico de la penya de modo que yo
pueda enviarles una nota de gratitud y buena suerte para la nueva
temporada? Cuando salí del bar, la ciudad era muy ruidosa con claxons de
coches que van y vienen con gente gritando de alegría, una noche
asombrosa.
